House League
House League is where the majority of Perth Velocity's games take place. We currently run three seasons per year - two shorter Recreational Seasons around autumn and spring, as well as a Championship Season in the cooler months.
Our House league mission statement is "To develop, promote and lead positive inline hockey experiences for all".
Recreational ("Rec") seasons
Rec seasons are designed for players of all levels new and experienced alike to come together for some fun, low stakes hockey and are the perfect entry point for giving inline hockey a go!
If you are a competent inline skater or have some Street Roller Hockey experience and are looking for a new challenge, these are the seasons to make your inline hockey debut.
Seasons run for 8-10 weeks and teams are usually drafted for a single season only. This gives players an opportunity to have a hit and socialise with a wide variety of club members.
Championship Season
We run one Championship Season per year, over the cooler months. This is where our core teams face off across a longer season (usually around 12 weeks plus 2 weeks of playoffs) for a chance to win the coveted Perth Velocity Cup trophy!
Championship Seasons require some ice or inline hockey experience to allow for faster gameplay and slightly more competitive teams, but this is still a House League competition at heart and we want everyone to have fun regardless of their level.
Premier League ("Prem")
Premier League is a place for our more experienced and skilled players to let loose and play some fast inline hockey.
After a successful trial season in 2021, Prem had a temporary hiatus in 2022.
We are hoping to run a 2023 Premier League season, but as a 100% volunteer run club, we need your help to make it happen! If you are interested in helping organise and run the league (along with some support from the Committee), please get in touch and help us bring Prem back to life.
